Konpa Konnection is a cultural network celebrating and preserving Creole/Haitian heritage. Grounded in authenticity, diversity, and community, we create spaces where culture thrives and people connect meaningfully.
Through our partnership with DGR Productions, our mission empowers talent, strengthens communities, and ensures the growth of Haitian culture.
Our Story
Konpa Konnection was founded in 2020 by Phelippe V, widely known as NègDanseA. The company began as a Konpa dance networking class dedicated to educating and encouraging dancers to develop their skills.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, NègDanseA discovered his love for music and Konpa dancing at an early age. As a reserved young boy, he found freedom of expression through dance. Over time, his passion grew into a career. Through hard work and determination, he became a recognized name in the Konpa community as a dancer and instructor.
NègDanseA has been featured in numerous music videos within the Caribbean international music industry, performing alongside well-known Haitian artists and bands such as Zenglen, Rutshelle, J Beats, Barikad Crew, and Dédé.
